INFLUENCER REAL TALK: ANNA VON KLINSKI ON BALANCE, SELF-CARE & SOCIAL MEDIA

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO YOU TO BE AUTHENTIC, AND HOW DO YOU MANAGE TO PRESERVE THAT AUTHENTICITY ON SOCIAL MEDIA?
For me, being authentic means not pretending and being honest with myself and others — not only about the positive things, but especially about difficult situations. My flaws and insecurities are just as much a part of being authentic as my strengths. I try to preserve this on social media by showing myself as I truly am and honestly sharing what I think and feel, without filtering out “the bad.”

DESCRIBE YOURSELF IN THREE WORDS!
Curious, versatile, warm-hearted

WHAT IS YOUR PERSONAL DEFINITION OF SUCCESS, AND HOW HAS IT CHANGED OVER THE COURSE OF YOUR CAREER?
To me, success means being able to do what makes me happy throughout my life — having a fulfilling job while still having time for my hobbies, friends, and family. Ideally, success also includes achieving financial and spatial independence. In the past, success was strongly tied to external recognition, but today it’s more about a sense of inner satisfaction and the freedom to shape my life according to my own ideas — or even completely reinvent it if I choose.

SELF-CARE IS A BIG TOPIC. WHAT DO YOU DO TO GROUND YOURSELF AND TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF DURING STRESSFUL TIMES?
Over time, self-care has become about discovering new hobbies for me. I’ve started exploring different styles of dance, and even figure skating. These breaks are incredibly valuable to me. I also love getting lost in books for hours, starting an endless series marathon, or hosting craft nights with my friends.

WHICH MOMENTS IN YOUR DAILY LIFE MAKE YOU FEEL TRULY FULFILLED AND CONTENT?
Honestly, all kinds of moments. One thing that especially fulfills me through social media is helping people with my content and then reading their comments or messages about it. I also love those small realizations of happiness with friends and family, the feeling of a relaxed evening, moments of success at university or in our fashion company ENŪDA, and of course every second spent pursuing my countless hobbies.

YOU ARE A ROLE MODEL FOR MANY WOMEN. WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE YOUR YOUNGER SELF WHO IS JUST BEGINNING TO FIND HER PATH?
“Don’t try to find the perfect destination — try to find happiness in every step along the way.” A happy life with meaningful people, a job you enjoy, fulfilling hobbies, and beautiful moments is worth far more than any single goal. And: “Trust in yourself and your ability to achieve anything.”

HOW DO YOU MANAGE TO LIVE CONSCIOUSLY AND ENJOY THE MOMENT IN SUCH A FAST-PACED WORLD?
I like to create mental snapshots. No matter how small the moment is, if it makes me happy, I take a second to breathe and mentally save it. I believe that even though the world is fast-paced, we can always decide for ourselves how much we want to go along with that pace. In some areas of my life, I enjoy the speed — in others, I consciously choose to slow down.

WHAT IMPACT DOES YOUR WORK HAVE ON YOUR PRIVATE LIFE, AND HOW DO YOU FIND BALANCE BETWEEN THE TWO?
Because I’ve turned some of my hobbies into my profession, the lines between work and private life often blur. They influence each other and sometimes can’t really be separated at all. Some might see that as a negative, but for me, that’s actually my version of balance. As long as I still have small moments just for myself and my loved ones, I wouldn’t want it any other way.

IF YOU COULD TOUCH THE WORLD WITH ONE MESSAGE, WHAT WOULD YOU WANT TO TELL PEOPLE?
Be brave enough to walk your own path, no matter how scary it can feel or how much you may fear the future or rejection. The world needs your individuality, not copies.
